Welcome to the website for the Salcha River Cabins. This property has been a great escape for our large family for 15 years. With busy lives, we haven’t been able to spend the time at the cabins that we would like to in order to maintain the property. We are looking for a couple to stay at the property May through September 2023 to work on maintenance and improvement projects as necessary.

→ WHERE
Located near mile 30 on the Salcha River. Getting to the cabin is about an hour drive from Fairbanks, and an hour boat ride up river from the landing.
→ WHEN
Caretakers should be available to live at the property from May to September 2023. There will be plenty of opportunities to return to Fairbanks throughout the summer. (Dates are flexible.)
→ WHO
Caretakers must be trustworthy, independent, self motivated and hard workers. Must have mechanical aptitude and the ability to drive a boat is preferred.
